New iPhone & Futurama today

Whaaaaat? Yes, that’s right. A new series of Futurama airs in the States tonight (9pm) on Comedy Central. So it should be turning up on iTunes or bit torrent soon.

Also today is the day iPhone 4 should be arriving. There’s such a demand for them that shipping has been pushed back to 3 weeks.

I’ve just discovered some code on Apple’s website that has a class name of “sosumi”.

To the untrained eye, it looks like a Japanese name or title, but when said out loud sounds like “So sue me”.

This class has been applied to the legal footer on their website.

Note gf probably stands for General Footer.

Apple + Microsoft vs Google

The days are numbered for all the Mac vs PC debates. Apple and Microsoft may be once again harmoniously holding hands as they skip down digital lane to beat the crap out of the neighbourhood bully that is Google.

Now that Google has their own phone, own OS, own voice channel (US only, so far), own search and own applications – this is an all out strike against Apple who have had similar products, even before the search giant had.

It appears that Apple maybe ditching Google’s search string in favour of Microsoft’s “Bing!”. Many Mac users are like, wtf mate. And it’s rumored that Apple are even creating their own search engine. High hopes.

Anyways, competition is always grand.

New NZ mobile carrier featuring Rhys Darby

New Zealand has a new mobile phone carrier (bringing the total up to, three carriers) called 2 Degrees. They have a new advert out featuring Rhys Darby (Murray from Flight of the Conchords) which is pretty funny.

New viral adverts, promoting Microsoft’s latest browser IE8 are actually a little bit funny.

At first i thought it was going to be another Seinfaild, but this one actually made me snigger:

MS Entourage is an annoying little bugger. Typical bloated software from MS which has so much going on, on the interface its quite frightening to realise that it’s “just an email/notes/calendar” application.

But I tried to receive an email with a JS attachment and was immediately blocked. Hmph.. i thought. Must be able to save the file somehow.

NO! MS Entourage just blocks the attachment altogether, and there’s no solution… or is there? This is MS help, at it’s best:
