If you are living outside of the US and want to watch those TV shows offered to the Americans, you can. There are a couple of ways to do this, using a proxy via SSH is a great way to keep this going in the background.

I use Boxee which has access to great content, unfortunately some shows such as South Park and Comedy Central are blocked due to geolocation.

I’ve found this article to be a great help for OS X users (using Terminal) to tunnel into a US-based server (mine being Dreamhost). This can be pretty slow, so you’d prolly have to paid some notes for a fast server.
