Yes!! I’ve started my new job at Iris Digital which has been a hectic past week, but enjoyable.

On my first day i was in-and-out of meetings and inductions. On my second day, i was dropped into the deep end on customising a wordpress blog, essentially hacking/converting it into a CMS system.

Having developed WP Themes before, I’ve never had to customise the code to hold posts on the front page, limit the amount of posts displaying on the front page. So it was a huge task to say the least. Although I got it done within four days. The PHP developer at work tried to help, but he’s never used WordPress before so I did all of the customisation myself.

My new computer, Macbook Pro is pretty good, although it doesn’t quite match up to the pace of my old (new) MacPro i bought off of Steel.

To really geek things out a bit:
1x Macbook Pro, 2.4ghz, 4gb.
1x MacPro, dual quad, 2.8ghz (22.4ghz), 8gb
1x Macbook, 2ghz, 2gb

So essentially – enough power combined to process the DNA of a small horse.

Also, working with Ali is great. He sure does like Nandos (more than bacon i think).
