One thing thats annoyed me as a developer is that the new Alu keyboards have function keys with apples modifiers overlaid on them. So if i was normally to hit F12 to preview in FFX, it increases the volume. The only way seemed possible was to hold down Fn key with F12.. but this sucks.

This is the way to do it:
Go to System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse > Keyboard – tick the Use Fn keys normally
