Photography rules in NYC, apparently

So I emailed New York Institute of Photography (NYIP) and asked them what the rules / laws were (if any) for photography in NYC.

I thought the reply was kinda funny:

“No photos allowed in subways or at tunnel entrances. Bridges are o.k. but only from a distance. It used to be that there were very restrictions but since terrorists blew up the WTC there are stricter rules.”

In other words, taking photos causes buildings to collapse…
